Help: looking for... Fantastic Four (2005) - Extended Edition 1080p

I’m sorry if by chance this is a repeat of another thread. I looked for a search function, but can not find one. I also went to the HELP page, but alas there isn’t one. So any anyone can point me to a search function that I overlooked, I’d sincerely appreciate it being pointed out to me.

With that being said, I’m looking for the extended version of Fantastic Four (2005) that was released only on DVD just about the time Blu Ray was on the horizon or just released.

In addition, they had a perfect chance to release this on Blu Ray when that total bomb of a reboot in 2015, but elected to not take that opportunity.

The extended version doesn’t exist in 1080p.

is probably the thread you want (well, just to first ask if things exist). No, there’s no search engine. It actually took me a while of google searching to find that link as I didn’t remember the exact thread name.

But like other fan edits, it can be made (with the extra scene material upscaled). This has been done with a few films in the past including the Lethal Weapon series with reasonably good success. I’d prefer that over having no extended cut at all.

Yes it does. It’s on itunes as a bonus feature.

Actually, I believe that there is a Blu Ray from the UK that has the extended version.

Actually, not long before you posted that, I was able to confirm that what was reported the Director’s Cut/Extended Version was indeed NOT what was originally reported…

Correct. The only place to get it is iTunes.
