To be fair to mfm, telling him “it’s a good thing you don’t have kids” is kind of a shitty thing to say. Apparently it was a joke (I guess?) but it didn’t come off that way.

It still didn’t need the ‘fuck you’ response.
It did need that response. Had anyone other than Handman or another friendly user said it, I’d have responded even more harshly.
Maybe a response something like ‘What the fuck? That’s a shitty thing to say - where’s that come from?’ would have been a more apt response? and may have also got you some info on why/what caused Handman to say it?
I wasn’t quite sure but figured and hoped that Handman was probably telling a joke; it struck a nerve with me regardless so I responded in kind with another rude joke. “Fuck you,” (I guess until a few weeks ago) was the go-to OT.com response when dealing with crude jests and is an inside joke of the website.
