I suppose I should try and explain myself for that comment. I was trying to be rude because Handman’s comment pissed me off, but at the same time the simple “Fuck you.” has been an OT.com lighthearted insult that I thought most people would get, although I guess it has been replaced by “Up ur” now.
You can also use “fuck ur.”
Yes, if you want to annoy the mods, and be issued with warnings etc, then you go ahead and use ‘fuck ur’ to another member of the community…
If not, I suggest you don’t use ‘fuck ur’ either.
Uhm, why? “Ur” is so obviously a silly thing that this community has come up with to use that I don’t see how anybody could take a post with it as a serious insult. And we used to say fuck you to each other all the time to each other and everyone understood that it was a joke. Now all the sudden a new person (through no fault of his own) wasn’t around for the joke and it’s all the sudden not allowed at all? Why not just link him the thread with the original jokes?

Not having that mate, at all. If you want to use that ‘Up ur’ as a ‘ot.com lighthearted insult’ instead, then ok.
‘Fuck you’ means exactly what it is - and could well lead to misunderstandings and further issues.
I’d recommend everyone not use that term to other members of the community in the future.

I can see many of the fun memories I have of this place would not have been allowed to happen had you been made a mod sooner. Your seeming quest of sucking all the fun and asserting your new dominance as the all powerful super mod of a god damn Star Wars forum is starting to work. Hey did you guys know Jason is a mod now? I somehow forgot since he only intervened in most threads instead of all now.
Aye, a mod asking fellow members to not post ‘fuck you’s’ at other members of the community is really draining the fun, is it? If wanting to post ‘fuck you’ or ‘fuck ur’s’ is your idea of fun then hopefully you will be able to find some other way of having fun.
