Info Wanted: Current issues with Star Wars 2011 Blu-Ray audio?

Now that there are two high quality versions of a few different versions of the original Star Wars audio tracks (HairyHen’s original, DTS theatrical mix), I’m wondering if it would be worth trying to patch out various sections to try and fix issues that exist in the 2011 6.1 audio track.

That said, I’m trying to compile an up-to-date listing of issues with the track. Any specifics come to mind? I’ve heard one rumor that the surrounds were accidentally swapped in the detention block shootout but haven’t been able to confirm. Curious to know what all still could be improved upon.

I think the swapped surrounds are exclusive the the 2004 5.1 mix.

The 2004/2011 mix of ANH is Unsalvageable. It sounds very poor as a whole, not just in sections. The 97 mix is the best ANH ever sounded to me. With the 93 mix being good enough to patch up content changes. (Its sound effects sound great actually but the score still has that tinny washed out sound which the 97 mix still has to an extent but is greatly improved. )

The 2011 mix for ESB and ROTJ actually sound pretty fantastic to me minus content changes.
