yeah, i always thought that Anakin's body was still in the suit as well. I mean if it wasnt Luke should have kept the Vader suit cause it would be cool, he might eventually grow into it

but seriously, I figure that (well after it was made so that the force ghost thing wasnt something anyone could do) Anakin just figured it out. I mean what do you think he does while sitting in that meditation chamber of his, my guess would be meditate

. Actually, directly after Episode I i figured that the reason Qui-Gon didnt dissappear was because he didnt 'prepare' himself. Yoda passes into the force when he 'dies', Obi-Wan wasnt really cut in half, i always saw it as he vanished 'before' (maybe as) he was struck down, I mean it was his choice to 'be killed' i could have blocked that swing, probably could have even held off longer even if he wasnt able to ultimatly defeat Vader.

Ultimatly the 'explanation' of Force Ghosts and all that actually make the whole thing more confusing imho.

Well, unfortunately I lost the link when the old forum entries here were deleted. But I'll try to google it up again.

Edit:

I found something: "As he lay dying, Vader ceased to be. Anakin Skywalker returned. He asked his son to remove the cumbersome, fearsome mask that had concealed his face for decades. His mask and life support removed, Anakin looked upon Luke for the first and last time. He then died, his body disappearing into the light side of the Force. Luke burned the dark armor that had encased Anakin's crippled body in a quiet funeral pyre on the forest moon of Endor that night."

Maybe in Lucas' super mondo ultimate archival 3-D edition, Liam Neeson will appear with Hayden, Ewan, and a digital Yoda at the end of ROTJ.

Liam Neeson will probably appear and to be honest it's actually a change i'm in favor of, Ewan won't and neither will a crappy CG Yoda.

The same goes for your apparent presumption that these lines, if spoken, would be presented in any way other than the dull, lifeless manner in which all the other lines in the PT are spoken.

Furthermore, are you telling me that two lines, written exactly the same way, in two different films are both going to be conveyed the same way? Focusing solely on what's written on paper is not helping your argument at all.

Yes, GL does make a cameo in the film as do most of his kids. Georgie is standing outside the Opera entrance, looking off to the left and talking with other dignitaries, when Annie is on his way in to see Palps.

Thanks for the links to 'The Invisible Hand' stuff, as that confirms more deleted footage and not just dropped script points.

Here is my question: No where in the script does Vader (in suit) use a lightsaber or attack anyone with it, but yet everywhere I go, every promo picture I see, he's got his red saber out and is pointing at something or swinging at something. What gives?

Well, I didn't make it, I just linked it. So, I can't know the answer. Although, it has been edited by someone. The image originally(still with Jar-Jar though). I guess if you want to take him out you can get paint or photoshop out and, work on it.

To create hype. That's the reason any promo shot is shot for hype.

Um, I don't know if it was in this thread or not but I swear to God I saw Hayden in the 'old guy' Anakin makeup (ie ROTJ) and couldn't see why they would do that, unless......
