Most people I know have either never seen it or saw it once and don’t really remember it that well.
I fall into that second category.
I don’t know why people are acting so shocked that the new Bladerunner is flopping. It’s almost three hours long and is a sequel to a standalone film made nearly 40 years ago that most people haven’t seen in its entirety.
I don’t know that I’d say it’s “flopping.” Sure, it’s not a blockbuster hit; but it is a damn good movie, and isn’t that what movies are all about? Not anymore, I suppose.
