I found out that by clicking on somebodies account and changing the number at the end of the URL you can find every member on this forum, when I stumbled upon an account that was my first name and initial of my last name. I don’t remember ever creating an account with my own name, and I highly doubt anyone else shares my first name and last initial (I have a very uncommon first name). I wonder if I tried to create an account and it didn’t work out, but I don’t remember anything like that happening. Weird.
That doesn’t sound like something you should be able to do. Please don’t break the forum!

That’s exactly what it is.
By the way, none, the topic title can change and it won’t hurt the functionality of the link. The software only looks at the forum/category/topic ID when pulling the data, and it’s also smart enough to recognize when the topic title has changed from what’s requested in the link and redirect the user to the proper URL. There’s no need to truncate it. Actually, you hurt our search engine rankings by removing that text because keywords in the URL are a factor in page rank.
