Sometimes I wonder if I’m even a Star Wars fan anymore.
Elements from the OT which continue to resonate with me:
- The visuals.
- The main protagonists.
- Luke’s story.
- The music.
Otherwise, I feel I’ve outgrown it all and probably did years ago. A series about white hat heroes battling black hat villains in a swashbuckling setting just doesn’t hold enduring appeal to someone who constantly wishes in their heart of hearts that Ingmar Bergman had created the films instead.
I feel the exact same way. I think the new Disney marketing blitz doesn’t help. I find it hard now to even think of Star Wars films as real movies because Star Wars as a brand is just everywhere. I think of Star Wars like I think of Sprite or Windex. Just a product.
Good…to be honest I feel that star wars will be remembered while the shit you like will be forgotten much like you
What the fuck is your problem? He wasn’t insulting anything or anybody. If anything all he was saying was he was burned out on star wars, he didn’t even say anything bad about it. And I don’t recall him saying he liked you either.
