No. Captain Ed Mercer actually is a pretty good character.
And episode 4 wasn’t rampant with dick jokes. Well, it did have a couple, but the main one was a Data-esque gag where an offhand comment was made that the robot character didn’t understand and kept awkwardly bringing up.
