OK, folks,

Hopefully starting this week we can trash all those DVD-Rs and VHS 115th-generation dubs of the TV cut of STM. Tomorrow (if all goes well) WB–and hopefully other outlets like Amazon, etc.–will ship out the STM extended blu ray.

Just to clarify after reading and researching other posts…look forward to a widescreen (not full frame) and 2.0 stereo release.

Now, I suggest for those who may be wanting to have other extended versions of the SUPERMAN movies, to please savor this release first. WB only has so much money in their bank to restore their evergreen films (look at what they’ve done to THE SEA WOLF, also an upcoming WB Archive release), and it takes time and a lot of effort.

Once we get our discs, that will be where the argument and excitement will end. So treasure the best, treasure what we got. And enjoy it.
