II Exorcists 2 Furious.
Exorcist II is at least shorter than the PT.
The Person in Question
II Exorcists 2 Furious.
II Exorcists 2 Exorcise.
I’d rather watch Exorcist II than the PT, but mostly because I’ve never seen the former and am unfamiliar with it’s alleged badness, so at least it’d be something new.
.
I think Exorcist II is comparable with Star Trek V. Both have a great story, but the execution thereof isn’t so great. I can overlook the flaws of both films to appreciate their good qualities, but YMMV.
The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)
Glad I finally watched it. While I enjoyed it, I prefer my anti-war social commentary in the form of Planet of the Apes (1968) or Dr. Strangelove. But still an above-par film. 7/10
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
Wonder Woman (2017)
Fantastic. Feels like a Marvel movie, tbh.
chyron just put a big Ric pic in your sig and be done with it.
tbh.

Star Wars: Heir to the Force, by DigMod
Makes me wish there was a mashup between this and Hal’s TFA edit. Moving the reveal til later and keeping Ren’s helmet on until the climax I think helps the character.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie - 6/10
There’s some genuinely brilliant moments in this movie. Too bad they’re sandwiched between generic or downright cringeworthy scenes.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle - 6.5/10
Not 100% sure how I feel about this one, but one thing is that it could’ve been a lot tighter. Definitely didn’t need to be 141 minutes. Still, a load of fun.
- Fargo (1996) – 8/10
Since you rated FARGO so highly, I really recommend watching all three seasons of the TV show. It’s great.
IT: Chapter One (2017)
Damn, this was really good. Really want to go see IT again if time permits, will have a longer cut when released to physical media (15-20 minutes longer running time?), and already wanting to own IT. IT: Chapter Two (Latter half of the book adapted where they’re adults, obviously.) will be released September 6, 2019.
Going to reread the book (haven’t read in 20 years or so) and rewatch the Blu-ray disc of the 1990 TV mini-series adaptation.
Logan Noir. An awesome take on the original film and very powerful in black and white. 8.5/10
The Cat In The Hat (2004)
Monty Python and The Holy Grail (1975)
Cross of Iron (1977)
The Guns of Navarone (1961)
The Room - 9/10
Picked up a copy of The Disaster Artist earlier this week, so I decided to watch the movie all the way through. This was the hardest I’ve laughed in a while. I hate it so much but I can’t help but enjoy the hell out of it.
Animated 1980s "Phantom of the Opera."
Not bad. Faithful to the book in many ways, but with seemingly random departures that don’t effect the story at all.

I find it’s only “so bad it’s good” when Tommy’s on screen. When he’s off, it’s just plain bad.
You’re right, except also whenever Denny is on screen. Or Claudette. Or Chris R. Or Peter. Or Mike. Or Lisa and/or Mark. Or the football. Or the doggie.
Every single frame is a masterpiece.
Doggie not applicable. It shares screentime with Johnny.
Let’s not forget: “I got the test results back. I definitely have breast cancer.” Golden.

MOTHER or VICIOUS SATANIC MISANTHROPY:THE MOVIE
Worthy follow-on to NOAH, where a little elite led by an enlightened environmentalist, his pretty boys, and a couple of females, are the only ones “worthy” of shelter from the cataclysm of the world created by Satanist-led mankind. I’ll always be grateful to NOAH for showing me so much.
Satanists shifting blame onto their victims, who only want to live the way they were meant to, for the horrors of the Satanist-led world.
It “justifies” their shelter and survival while they send everyone else into the cataclysm they “deserve” after spending decades ensuring the people have nothing.
I figured Mother! would be a movie worth watching. Looks like I figured right.
Blade Runner 2049. It’s really good. Teal and Tangerine is really annoying though and I would have trimmed one scene a little but other than that utterly amazing. Proof if proof be need be that any sequel to a Scott film needs a good writer more than it needs a good visualist. But the visuals are astounding too. I’d give it all the balls but demand the teal and tangerine ones back.
