Can a standard Blu-Ray player even play discs larger than a BD50?
It depends on the technology behind the 100GB (triple-layer OR 4-layer aka 3BDXL or 4BDXL, reflecting surface, aso…), and on the player obviously.

So I’m not sure that BDXL are readable by all players, and I would avoid those big BR…
