An anthology film about the Falcon’s previous owners might actually work. Ending with Lando getting it. If the ship is still as old as it used to be.
Or make a horror movie about a bunch of people who went slowly crazy on the falcon because of something they picked up and the last shot of the film is of lando coming across the ship and seeing a hand print on the window. The thing driving them crazy gone mysteriously along with the bodies of the owners. The ship landing seemingly by itself on the dock on cloud city. Setting up that maybe there is something outside of the force…lovecraftian eldritch abominations that look at the force and laugh at its impotentence.
