There is a cool pre-production drawing (by R.McQuarrie?) of Boba Fett standing next to a cage where Han is held (concept unused in the film). His armor is more like steel (ie. without a color tint) and his robe looks more like a "medieval knight" to me (in contrary to "comic book superhero" type cape used in the movie).
