Excellent.
I had a dream last night that you released it as is, and I kept getting stuck in the menu and couldn’t actually watch the movie, ever! It was a nightmare I guess.
No angle button?!? How do you watch… er… documentaries?
No angle button?!? How do you watch… er… documentaries?
You have to pop up the on screen display and navigate to it. Pain in the ass. Even my Toshiba HD-DVD player has those buttons.
The remote for my JVC DVD recorder is slightly worse. The angle and audio buttons are hidden behind a little door at the very bottom of the remote making one handed use awkward. Not that I ever use it for watching stuff anyway.
Where were you in '77?
It appears that I’ve fixed the issues. Sending a second test disc to Silverwook…

Any status to report on the disc? Or on the lossless audio/GOUT sync from Mavimao?
Silerwook is reviewing the latest version, checking for bugs.

I asked for the lossless files a while back but it might have gotten lost in the discussion.
In any case I’m still open to doing the sync!
What’s the internal temperature of a TaunTaun? Luke warm.
Unless I’m missing something, I’m guessing uploading the DVD files to MEGA would be faster than snail mailing a disc.
We’re in the same geographic area more or less. And my pal Jaxxon likes his physical media. Also, our internet is slow as a turtle.
I lament the trilogy discs won’t look similar, but we need to track down Boba Feta to make a cover.
JEDIT:Apparently he already did a mock-up for one some time ago.

Gidday mate, I’ll get right on that. I just need a list of specs from Puggo man for the back.
Cheers.

Hey there! Welcome back!
Where were you in '77?
OK I think I’ve about finished. I still need approval from Puggo and final specs. At it stands I’ve just guessed those, I’ve been out of the loop for some time and just assumed what these might be.
I’ve just guessed the runtime at 131 minutes, the Aspect Ratio at 2.40:1 and assumed it’s Dolby Stereo. Let me know Puggo so I can update the specs.
Cheers.

looks nice!
Looks beautiful. Can’t wait to pay for it on eBay.
(No, seriously, it is BEAUTIFUL, thank you very much!)
Hi Boba!
Thanks again for making the great covers.
The specs are the same as the previous two editions, except the running time is 131 minutes and 47 seconds. I guess that makes it closer to 132.
I really like your notes!

A few minor typos I see in the notes…
“has taken another classic film print and digitized it” (not digitizing)?
installment is spelled wrong (instalment)
I think that’s all.
Ah… I wonder if Mr Feta is a Brit? Over this side of the pond we do spell instalment with one l, i.e. properly 😃. And digitised would perhaps be more common than digitized, although both appear to be in use here in the UK.
Bluto
Wouldn’t it be 2.66:1, though?
And the Dolby Stereo box shows a monaural schematic.
So, a new book came out and we learned so much, and it is called, “Anguilosaurus, Killer of the Living”.
It looks wonderful!
The specs should probably mention original 16mm mono and Laserdisc Dolby Stereo.

Yup. 1.33 x 2 is 2.66

OK thanks troops, I’ve made a few edits and amended the image.

The only thing about the 16mm mono, is that it is implemented on both L and R channels. That is, I have the same track in the left and right channels (as opposed to pure mono, which some 5.1 players playback in the center channel only). I honestly don’t know the best way to indicate that on the back of the cover. All of my 16mm editions are encoded that way.

Dual mono?

Dual mono?
I seem to remember hearing that term before. Maybe “Dual 16mm mono” in this case?

16mm dual mono
I think that “dual mono” refers to 2 separate mono tracks (allowing, for example, to select the language in a dual mono dolby digital broadcast), which is not the case here : it is exactly the same track on left and right channels.
("“Dual mono” indicates two completely separate, independent, unrelated channels" : https://www.sweetwater.com/insync/what-is-dual-mono-versus-stereo/)
So the best word to describe this 16mm sound is just “mono” without “dual”.
