I love that movie. It’s funny, but also very inspirational.
And you could do much worse than to become someone who chases his dreams until he succeeds. He’s doing fairly well.When you put it like that… yeah. But after I watched it I had the thought of being watched in a high school classroom and being laughed at by a bunch of teachers and still living in the same house (or neighborhood, can’t remember) as your parents at age 30.
I really urge you to watch it again with a slightly different eye. There’s a beauty to this film and to Mark that often gets lost under the laughs. It’s much more than a crazy guy dreaming bigger than his means.
And, like I said, Mark is doing pretty well and doing what he loves. That’s more than most of us can say!
OH! Also look up the deleted scene: “Burger King”. I think it’s on youtube. It’s my favorite part of the movie and it’s not even in the movie!
