IMDB says the SE's are 5.1, but I swear Neil (or someone) said they were 4.0 [EDIT] (Perhaps he meant they were mastered from a 4.0 source? That sounds more familiar.)

Regardless, I think it would be better to use the DVD PCM track as a master, rather than the LD AC3 converted to WAV, and then back to AC (which we'd have to do with the fronts anyways - unless the entirety of the LD soundtrack was used, minus "bring my ship" and Luke's yell, of course.
