I usually use a feathered crop to isolate the mouth, then bring it backward or forward in the shot to match the words. This requires keyframing it to match the position of the face pretty precisely, so it was really tricky in the shot where Leia was walking toward the camera. One of the tricks I’ve learned is that audio trails video by a frame or two in our mental processing, which means that the mouth should close a frame or two before the last word ends.
