You should LOVE the prequels (cuz they’re better movie and a better trilogy, when done right), they’re were DIAMONDS buried in the COAL we received. Lucas is a genius and shot everything he needed - it’s all there, just lost under gluttony and excess.

Trust me I KNOW how that sounds lol… I’ve honestly enjoyed sitting through them a more than the originals - in all this editing I’ve been doing. The originals are special but the preqs were written as a trilogy so they’re more choeisive(?) in that sense - and I’m talking about mine NOT the theatricals. NO NO NO way are THEY better than the ORIGINAL theatrical films.
Give mine a watch and then tell me the prequels didn’t have good(/great even?) movies in them somewhere… 😃
I already said both sets of films are shot the same way. Look at HOW LONG in takes the jawas to load up R2 or even in their moving car/van lol… All those droids get a shot - THANK GOD there’s no cgi then or they’d jave been even LONGER. There’s plenty of fluff in the original trilogy too. I personally feel they all play better at 2hrs instead of 2hrs 20 mins…
Jedi will always be my fav but I think I like TPM next, I find it (my version anyways) the most fun to watch. So much so that I extended the podrace. The podrace fails in the theatrical cuz you’ve sat through crap for so long that one long ass sequence is NOT what you want next. I feel my cut gets us there quicker and is more fun so why not make the race feel more like the way Lucas intended - a big old school race sequence. The theatrical pod race is a mess… In mine all the racers are identified and all have their moment in the race (be it big or small).
So when edited ‘properly’ - the prequels are fantastic. I hope with mine you simply just don;t hate anything anymore. I hopefully fixed or at least patched all the problems with the story. I want everyone to enjoy them and want to pop that next one in even if you have to work in the morning or go to school lol…
