Yeah, I still need to figure out how to get my sound to work on Windows 10, and there are other little annoyances.
I bought my PC on May and I don't like Win8 at all. Hopefully the update comes soon here.
And in the time of greatest despair, there shall come a savior, and he shall be known as the Son of the Suns.
Downloading 10 at this very moment.
I've had 8 for about a year. Little getting used to, but no complaints. I'll post after I've given 10 a thorough test drive.
Those tv commercials cry out to be parodied.
Imagine, these kids won't have to remember passwords, or obsess about security. Because Windows 10 will have achieved sentience, and enslave all of humanity soon after. Power to the machine state!
For them, every screen is meant to be touched. But, so help me, if you touch my screen with your filthy little hands...!
Because these kids will grow up with Windows 10. Unless, of course, their parents are dirty hippies who use Macs...
Where were you in '77?

Edit: On an semi-related note, I installed Windows 10 on my Windows 7 partition again, now that I know how to fix certain driver problems.
Nobody sang The Bunny Song in years…
Apple's Boot Camp now has Windows 10 drivers. Unfortunately my new MacBook Pro is too new to let me install 7 via Boot Camp so I can upgrade it to 10. :-/

Install Win 8.1 and then upgrade. But I strongly recommend you waiting a few months before trying windows 10 since is still very buggy.

Yeah, high end graphic cards are having issues too because of the drivers. Windows 10 sucks right now but I'm sure that in a couple of months it will run rock solid. I'm on 8.1 right now and no complains at all.
If anyone has a reservation for a free upgrade don't rush to upgrade now since the free offer is for a full year since launching day. Also is better to do a clean system install than a upgrade, major OS upgrades in windows environment take a toll on performance at some point. I'm sure that MS soon will release some fresh windows 10 ISOs to do clean installs which is always recommendable.

But it's not like I can upgrade for free from 7 to 8.1 to 10. I have to install 7 and get it licensed before I upgrade to 10.dclarkg said:

I’m trying to make a compilation of fanedits for my cousin and being quite large files I have formatted my memory sticks to be exfat. I was given a Windows machine sometime ago (arrrrgh!) and while it recognised the sticks the first time and transplanted some files onto them when I plugged them in a second time they refuse to recognise them and keeps asking me if I want to format them. When I plug them into my mac I it sees the sticks immediately and plays the files.
I hate Windows but Windows 10 is even more evil than before, everytime I use the bloody thing I want to rage quit life (not entirely serious folks). I think I may have an allergy to windows as it makes me want to sneeze as well.
On your Mac, click on the disk on the desktop, go to File > Get Info, and see what it says under “Format.”
ExFAT
Try a different Windows PC. Also, try restarting the PC in question.
chyron just put a big Ric pic in your sig and be done with it.

Up until last week I could have used my work laptop but now I only have the one machine cursed with losedohs 10. I am quite old so switching off and on was at the forefront of my mind 😄
