Info Wanted: Recently Digitized my VHS copies. Any suggestions on how to restore them?

So I recently hooked up a capure card, bought some old SW tapes, and backed up the original trilogy.

The quality is watchable, but not very good I would say.

Make sure to zoom to see the problems that I see. I’m fairly good at editing clips, but when it comes to color correction and the visual effects aspect, i’m flying blind here.

If anyone has any suggestions, or wants to take up the mantle to restore/remaster the files, let me know.

Good luck on your project, but with all the 35 mm film restorations being done I wouldn’t hold out for demand on a vhs transfer to be very high.

Not really worth “restoring” or enhancing VHS. I think it’s cool to have the transfer for nostalgic preservation purposes but beyond that, there are much much much better sources out there for restoration that are being worked on currently.
