Products like the 2 Ewok films and Willow, Radioland Murders and Howard the Duck? Heck, I even hate Return of the Jedi. And the Holiday Special was most certainly a product released by Lucas. It was bought by a TV network.
About the only thiings that were good after Star Wars were The Empire Strikes Back and the Indiana Jones films (which had a lot of creative input from Spielberg).
Essentially there should be no surprise that the SE's and the prequels are of substandard quality. Lucas hasn't made a truly good product in a long time.
