Would you consider reverting the Krayt Dragon howl to the 1997 version for 2.0? Not a huge deal, but I feel like the 2011 sound effect is the aural equivalent of R2’s rock.

The '97 mix is included in the audio options.

Oh dang, I thought it was a Frankenstein situation between the two; didn’t realize both were included. I’m happy I asked before sitting down and watching it front to back with the wrong mix.
Well the '97 version is slightly Frankensteined in two places to make it line up with the Blu-ray, but it’s hardly (if at all) noticeable.

I’m really looking forward to checking this out 😃
NeverarGreat, do you have any idea when this is going to appear on Myspleen? Have you put up any screencap comparisons for this release?
The first post contains quite a few comparisons, but unfortunately since ScreenshotComparison.com cleaned out their database only my version is viewable. I’ll probably replace them with WilliamRob’s website links, and make a large comparison folder on Google Drive which catalogs some of the bigger changes, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet.
I don’t know when the smaller version will be ready for the spleen, shouldn’t be too long.

I can’t believe that this is the master used for the blu-ray. Excellent job you brought life back to Star Wars even if it’s the special edition.
I calibrated my TV and watched last night and can happily say that this is the best version of Star Wars’ colors that we have available. It was a pleasure to watch.
Well done Neverar!
Amazing work NeverarGreat! It looks breath taking! Can’t wait to watch it again. 😃
The 20gb version is on the 'spleen!

I really love how you managed to keep a film like feel, while also keeping the contrast in the ideal range for a home video release. Everything looks just right. 😃
That looks so much better! I can actually see it properly now!
Ol’ George has the GOUT, I see.
I’ve got shitty internet provided by my apartment complex, so as much as I want to see this I can’t justify a 20GB download when I know I’m going to turn around and get the 35GB V2 with the finished lightsaber fixes. Any ETA on that perchance?
(The screenshots you’ve posted look stunning, by the way!)
I wouldn’t expect it for a few months at least, which is why I went ahead with a v1. 😃

Figured as much. Can’t wait!
Well done Neverar!
Can´t wait to enjoy this.
Finally had the pleasure of viewing this last night (yeesh, that 2011 mix is just frustrating. Sometimes the vocals are clear as a bell, and then mid scene they’ll drop back to cassette tape fuzziness).
That’s beside the point; absolutely stunning work Neverar. It sincerely looks like you hopped in a time machine to nab a '77 tech print straight from the projector and scanned it to digital. I can’t imagine the Blu Ray ever looking better than this. It gives me reassurance that Harmy’s 3.0 may very well be the best looking version of Star Wars we’ll ever get to see in this lifetime.
My one and only nitpick is that I feel the Blues are still just a teensy bit too strong. R2’s paint job still looks a little artificial and strange in some scenes. Otherwise, it’s a damn near perfect effort. Should we never get an official release again, I’ll be more than happy with this one.

Fantastic work NeverarGreat. Thanks
Nevarar, I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, but skimming through it I think it looks fantastic - definitely evokes the Technicolor prints I have seen. Great work!

Is it just me or when played on stereo speakers, the 97 soundtrack only plays the surrounds?
The colors look insanely good on this! Very nice skin tones and not so over-the-top blue walls. Looks fantastic! Hope to see this in DeEd 3.0!
Thanks NeverarGreat, this star wars version looks fantastic!

The real question is when are you going to tackle the other two films to complete the trilogy?! Please… 😉
Congrats on completing this, NeverarGreat. Tremendous work, you should be extremely proud. Thank you!
I watched it last night; and it’s beautiful. Well done, NeverarGreat!
