Well, that copter was expensive to fly. It got even worse with the final shot on the cheap in Canada season. They often matted in a cheap model!

I caught Knight Rider recycling an entire sequence where KITT breaks into a jail to free Michael. 😉

IIRC, Galactica built up a library of shots they could combine in different ways. This did lead to at least one shot of a group of shuttles where two seemingly were going to collide before they cut to another scene.

I think there were different angles on Spock’s coffin, but that may have been new footage. Speaking of Kahn, the starfield from the opening credits is supposed to have been recycled as a rear projection outside a window on the Enterprise in TFF.
