Sorry not to join in. Any topic that even vaguely touches on sportsball makes me very sleepy.
However, I saw this for the first time today. It’s from an exit poll PPP did in February 2016, while the Republican primaries were still going on. I think it wasn’t widely publicized at the time because everybody already knew Trump’s core supporters were a hamper of reprehensibles, and the GOP establishment was totally going to prevent them from taking over, so it didn’t matter, right?
Not focusing on Trump’s numbers in particular–there it is folks, 21% of Republican primary voters either think whites are a superior race, or are open to the idea. We’re gonna need a bigger basket.
