Too little, too late. The GOP were the ones who let southern racists into the fold in the 1960s. They were the ones who normalized white supremacy in political discourse over he last thirty-five years. They were the ones that allowed Trump to run for office in the first place, nominated him, and confirmed his reactionary thugs for his cabinet. There wouldn’t be this resurgence in neo-nazis, klansmen, and confederates if Trump hadn’t become president. Trump collaborated with the Kremlin to interfere in the 2016 election, a seriously impeachable offense that the GOP has conveniently ignored to force their evil agenda down our throats. Did they care about human lives a month ago when they secretly drafted a law (behind the American people’s backs) that would taken healthcare away from 43 MILLION PEOPLE? Do they care that we have been set back decades, maybe centuries, thanks to this man they failed to stop, and the monsters that he has in turn empowered? No, they are just trying to cover their fucking asses, only now comdenming the very thing that has built their party since the Reagan era.
