I personally would never pay anyone so much as a penny to view a website. Most of the material is spoilers for Episode 3 which I don't want to know. I know Episode 3 will definutly rock. I would like to see the DVD trailer and the Clone Wars but I can wait for the Clone Wars DVD rather then paying for a website.

Oh. Uh... Still too much.

“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. I'm pretty sure when I signed up last year it wasn't that much!!
Still £30 a year ain't too bad.

You do get to see all the docu's and Clone Wars, and all kinds of behind the scenes shit.

I love the ol' SW, so I'm not too bothered spending the cash!!

I know it was answered before, but I don't remember: was the clone wars DVD release confirmed yet?

No. My guess is there holding off the release so they can get all two hours on one disc as one long movie.

This from the Digital Bits this morning (at least insofar as when I read it)...

Also today, we can't vouch for the source, but a Star Wars fan website has information that reportedly leaked from someone who attended a recent Lucasfilm marketing meeting. Among the interesting bits of information is word that the first and second series of Star Wars: Clone Wars animated shorts will hit DVD in the first quarter of 2005. Also of interest (but not DVD related): the Episode III teaser trailer will debut in November, the first full trailer for the film will arrive in theaters in April 2005, and the word "Revenge" keeps appearing on marketing materials, prompting renewed speculation that Star Wars: Episode III will be called Revenge of the Sith. Finally, a live action Star Wars TV series may premiere in 2006. Fascinating stuff...

And this from Yakface.com...

Great info from a source in the retail industry who attended an official briefing on Episode III merchandising...

Clone Wars Series 1 & 2 DVD coming in Q1 of 05

Clone Wars Series 3 to air April 05 (Ten 12 minute chapters)

So we will get an extra 90 minutes out of series 3 since each episode is 12 minutes instead of 3. Pretty cool IMHO.

Actually an extra 60 minutes but more is more.

No, it's 90. The first sets were 30 minutes each (3 minutes x 10 episodes = 30 minutes). This series will wind up at 120 minutes (12 minutes x 10 episodes = 120 minutes). Therefore 120 min - 30 min = 90 min.

The YakFace.com ref says 10 twelve minute episodes. Where did you read 5?

Still haven't watched them yet, but I got the first batch from Richter so I'll be checking them out soon. I love Dexter's Laboratory though.
The original Star Wars trilogy: Our cultural history deserves to be preserved and should be available to the public like all great works of art!

While they are better then The Phantom Menace and Return of the Jedi they are not better then Attack of the Clones. Nothing is.

I still don't see why people do not like Attack of the Clones. Is it perfect? No. Still a decent movie. Read the novel if you want more backstory, but it was an excellent addition to Star Wars.

And besides, it gave us a very legitimate reason to hate Jar-Jar...the fool gave Palpatine the power to eventually build The Empire!!!

Oh yeah, the new info about the next novel to take place after TNJO...

"Luke and Han travel to a strange planet called 'Naboo', where Luke "senses much evil." Han and Luke then proceed to blow the crap out a strange yet evil race living under the waters....and for some strange reason the Emperor has another clone."

Personally, after AOTC, I want Timothy Zahn to redo parts of his Thrawn Trilogy...read the parts about the clones or cloning and you'll understand why.

Which is the more foolish, the fool (the OT) or the fool who follows (the PT)?

I actually don't mind AOTC, Dushku. Nor do I hate TPM. I take them for what they are, and I can enjoy them a lot. Of course, I don't hate Jar-Jar either. I'm probably the only one here who will admit to actually liking the damnfool. Please don't hate me...it's not like I'm saying, 'Jar-Jar is the greatest character George Lucas ever created. He's a masterpiece in every way.'

From what Sansweet said at the Con, it will just be the first 20 and not the ones coming out closer to the ROTS release.

Oooohhhh... new acronym.... ROTS... Revenge of the Sith. How's it feel?
