A live-action TV series, set during the period of the Galactic Civil War... with Vader & Palpie still alive'n'kicking... some stories showing us the background of the war, not the usual Jedi-Skywalker-oriented stuff... like Rebel commando raids, Imperial Navy pursuing the Alliance running away from Yavin, smugglers & pirates, anti-imperial uprisings on some remote planets, action-packed space skirmishes like those we know from the old PC game "X-Wing".... all with that cold "look&feel" of Empire Strikes Back...

Is that too much to ask?
