Hi, everyone. I’m new to these forums, so I apologize if this question has already been answered or if it’s inappropriate for the General Discussion section.

I downloaded the v2.5 MKV version of A New Hope and, for the most part, I’m very happy with it. There were a few times when I noticed that the audio in the film was curiously muted, however. The biggest error which I noticed occurs during the Mos Eisley cantina sequence at 45:22, when that snake creature (Dice Ibegon) approaches the wolfman (Lak Sivrak). The snake is supposed to make a squeaking noise during this moment, followed by the wolfman’s growl.

Currently, the wolfman still growls – but the snake’s squeaking noise has been muted.

Did anyone else notice this?
