The alleged harms of capitalism arise only when the government intervenes. It’s Econ 101: the best economy is one that has zero intervention whatsoever. Venezuela just proves this and the left wants to blame any excuse except socialism. This was preventable. But now Maduro is going to starve his people out of existence.
I can never adhere to liberalism ever again, and I don’t even like the far right. People say the far right is more dangerous in America right now, and now they have the tragedy of Venezuela to justify their right wing worldview.
