It was we conservatives who, upon Obama’s election, stated that our No. 1 priority was not advancing a conservative policy agenda but making Obama a one-term president—the corollary to this binary thinking being that his failure would be our success and the fortunes of the citizenry would presumably be sorted out in the meantime. It was we conservatives who were largely silent when the most egregious and sustained attacks on Obama’s legitimacy were leveled by marginal figures who would later be embraced and legitimized by far too many of us.
I wonder if Jeff Flake is owning up to his own role in all this, or if this is his way of pretending he’s one of those “good conservatives” who doesn’t do such things, as a prelude to needing to keep his Senate seat in 2018.
On a question about Republican leaders’ refusal to hold confirmation hearings for Barack Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland, Flake said the move was not without precedent. A man in the audience shouted, “Bulls—!” as the crowd chanted “shame on you.”

Socialism has been mathematically disproven since the 1970s and the left doesn’t want to admit that because it would give the conservatives a sense of legitimacy, which is what they never want. We knew what happened in the final years of the USSR, we know what is happening in Cuba & North Korea, and now millions are starving to death in Venezuela because the left are idiots and don’t want to admit the free market is the superior way to govern a society.
It’s unbelievable that just one individual, Karl Marx, was able to create a philosophy that has killed more people than any other belief system in human history. Both the killing fields of Cambodia and the brutality of Nicolas Maduro are the natural end results of implementing the Communist Manifesto in the real world. Capitalism, on the other hand, has never even harmed a single hair on a human head in the last two hundred years. Communism and socialism are 100 percent identical, its those leftists that keep interchanging terms in a attempt to reestablish the horrors of Stalinist Russia and Maoist China onto unsuspecting democracies.
All left-leaning ideologies are Marxist. Prove me wrong.

Venezuela just proves this and the left wants to blame any excuse except socialism. This was preventable. But now Maduro is going to starve his people out of existence.
I can never adhere to liberalism ever again, and I don’t even like the far right. People say the far right is more dangerous in America right now, and now they have the tragedy of Venezuela to justify their right wing worldview.
