I just want recognition. 😉

btw, I noticed a plot hole in an episode of Voyager on tv the other day. It was the one where they find that very small wormwhole. They discover it leads back to the alpha quadrant. They make contact with a Romulan. They come up with a plan to beam everyone through the wormhole. Yoyager would be lost, but the crew would be back home. Only one problem, they find out at the end of the episode that the wormhole not only travels to the Alpha quadrant, but 20 years into the past. So they give up again.
Just one problem: the writers of this episode must have forgotten about TOS Episodes “Tomorrow Is Yesterday” and “Assignment: Earth” Star Trek IV, and Star Trek First Contract". All the crew would have needed to do is beam through the wormhole and find a warp capable ship and slingshot around a sun using the correct calculations and they could travel 20 years into the future.
That might have been a problem deep inside Romulan space?
Where were you in '77?
When they thought it led to the their present day Alpha Quadrant, they weren’t too concerned about beaming deep inside Romulan Space. Presumably the original plan was to beam into Romulan Space and hitch a ride back to Federation Space. So why not do that and then once in Federation Space, find a ship and slingshot around the sun.
Maybe the whole slingshot thing is classified a century later? Obviously Kirk and company know how to do it. If it was common knowledge, everybody would be forever altering the timeline. There are other Voyager episodes where ye olde slingshot would have solved a problem or two. There’s also the whole “don’t alter history” thing, which is why Sisko gets a visit from Temporal Investigations after his little side trip into the past.
I can’t recall how the Enterprise E even got back home in First Contact, if they addressed the issue at all.
JEDIT:Geordi says he can recreate the Temporal Vortex thingy, which seems a better way to get around than ye olde slingshot, but it’s probably never mentioned in Trek again.

Being in the heart of the Romulan Empire might have been problematic. They also might’ve ruined the timeline.

Deja vu! 😉

The Voyager “plothole” (if you can call it that) that always got me was that Janeway was violating the Prime Directive by destroying the Caretaker to save that random underground city. It dragged them to the Delta Quadrant, died, and its remains were about to be scavenged by other Delta Quadrant aliens. Voyager should’ve gotten the hell out instead of staying and f#$%ing around for seven seasons. Then we wouldn’t have had the show though so why am I complaining about it?
The Person in Question
Tuvok mentioned that the Prime Directive stunned to apply, and Janeway said that they were already involved whether they wanted to be or not.
chyron just put a big Ric pic in your sig and be done with it.

HI WARBLER! 😄
Argh I was going to make a similar joke but unrelated to Warb.

What if David Lynch directed a Star Trek movie?

I would LOVE that!

The… Romulan Ale must flow? There are probably much better jokes I could make, but that’s the best I could think of.
EDIT: Make it flow.

Whereas I would (probably) hate it.

Yikes!

Ouch. Accidents like this can be very dangerous for a 86 years old man
I was horrified when I saw the footage. I’m glad he’s okay. Shatner’s in great shape so I wouldn’t be surprised if he lives to be 100.

He fights the Gorn every weekend. 😉
He’s certainly aging better then he did in The Deadly Years.

Remember the Dr. Pulaski aging makeup in that Next Generation episode? That looked so terrible.

I think that was an older, muscly actor that just looked really silly in Wesley’s sweater.

Deal of the year today.
Ended up finding the Mondo vinyl edition of the ‘Wrath of Khan’ soundtrack for 6 bucks. Specifically, the version where the discs resemble the Mutara Nebula.
I’m gonna enjoy listening to this one.
I’m just here because I’m driving tonight.
