The only issue I see with the show would be lazy writing. Someone mentioned earlier if the female Doctor was done in the 80s, it wouldn’t be done right, but I haven’t been confident in this show’s writing for years to be assured it will be done right today. Luckily, we have a new creative team as well, so I can only hope for the best.

I do agree with you about having more stand alone episodes. I am also tired of the overblown epicness all the time. Another thing a tired of is the sort of killing off of companions. Why can’t companions leave like they did in the original series?
