I think Rennervision's hit the nail on the head for inproving that scene. Maybe instead of having it where he mentions it, what if it's inserted to the shot of Anakin staring at the sun on Mustafar. It could be more on him musing on how it came to this.

I think it would definitely help in end as a flashback scene..
