@dvdmike, maybe. But there’s just something else, watching a film print. It’s like getting transported back in time. An experience, that you won’t get from watching clean digitised video.
Anyway, the print has been sold, so that’s that.
I’m not DVDMike but I’ve seen some awesome BD and UHD releases which have received painstaking 4K and greater remasters which preserves all film grain including original color timing. Why would I want to watch a worn print? I’d rather feel as though I’ve been transported in time seeing the film in pristine condition within the first few days of release.
