Look, I don’t think you’re being a sexist pig. I think you’re just extremely rigid in your thinking and the fact that you can’t accept a fictional character changing is the problem.

Captain Katherine Janeway is a fiction character. Do you think there wouldn’t be complaints from the feminist if they did a reboot and made Janeway a man? Do you think there wouldn’t be complaints from the NAACP if they reboot DS9 and cast a white guy as Sisko? Do you think I can describe men as being “sidelined” by them choosing a women for the next Doctor.

They’d probably have a point. You do not. I hate to say it but it’s white male privilege again.
