I’m pretty sure you can run virtual console on dolphin, but I only suggested virtual console because I thought time actually had a wii. If you’re wanting to emulate you can still buy it on virtual console for moral reasons then just use project64 to play an actual n64 rom if it doesn’t work, but it will. And if you’re dead set on using dolphin they’ve both been ported to GameCube anyway. (No enhancements straight emulation on a GameCube disc). The majoras mask one supposedly crashes on real hardware sometimes but ocarina of Time is pretty much a perfect emulation, they even changed the in game button references to correspond to the GameCube controller.
(Interestingly enough they are just plain emulators running a rom. I got my ocarina of time rom by extracting it from the GameCube disc and it works perfectly. I didn’t do that for mm cuz I heard it might crash, but in retrospect that was probably more due to the built in emulator on the collector’s edition than the rom they used. )
I think I know which GameCube disc you’re typing about. Has both OoT and MM on it and a few other things. Haven’t had much luck with N64 emulators though. TBH last time I ran one was a couple years ago.
Only have a PC currently and zero consoles. Well, tons if I can count emulators. For YAKUZA 1 & 2 on the PCSX2 emulator it’s a bit tricky setting up the graphics. Katamari Damacy is a bit weird on it being it displays boxes around objects occasionally but for some reason, MGS 2 & 3 play fine.
BUT, for both Dolphin and PCSX2 emulators, I keep forgetting to update the versions or whichever they’re called.
Been playing (on PC obviously) Victor Vran, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl (with Complete mod), Redout, Little Nightmares, State of Decay, World to the West, and some others.
