Anyways, the confirmation hearing took place when Trump was president-elect, ok that’s correct. But Fairooz was prosecuted months after Sessions became AG, and Trump was sworn in as president. So I’m right in that the administration is prosecuting citizens for exercising free speech. This is still something that’s more like how a dictator tolerates dissent than a sitting US president. Again, look up Masha Gessen or Amy Siskind on google (while you still can) and you’ll see my point.
