If a movie is part 2 of a story, ok fine. If Luke was black in ESB, that wouldn’t make sense. But otherwise, there is absolutely no reason Luke couldn’t be black in a remake. Because there was no reason he had to be white in the original.
Yes there is, because a remake of the original star wars should result in jailings.
