There isn’t much wrong with the visuals of THE FORCE AWAKENS… except for the horrid color grade. While the colors pop and the lightsabres dazzle on the screen, Han Solo (and everyone else) appear to have some severe blood pressure issues, as seen here. Even the crawl is affected from this grade! For my “regrade”, I am going to fix that issue.

I am not looking to drastically regrade the entirety of the film, rather, I want to keep the style, but lessen its effects. For my first pass at altering the color grade, I’ve desaturated the film and adjusted the hue shift – pushing the skin tones from pink to more natural colors.
