How to fix return of the jedi

Kill han solo in empire strikes back(BY DARTH F@CKING VADER) and replace the ewoks with coruscant invasion by the alliance as well as make leia pregnant with hans child whom she names Ben solo

This child will be 2 by return of the jedi

Luke will begin return of the jedi in a more emotionally complex place as he tends to yoda death bed on dagobah…having trained for the past 2 years and ready to train ben (setting up kylo ren).

Why this is better

It gives luke a harder time to forgive vader, as well as the crowd. We cannot forgive kylo for what he did in TFA…imagine if vader stabbed that lightsaber threw hans chest while han said “I know” in front of leia.
Jabba palace is gone and god riddance
A better motivation for luke to kill his father in that moment at the throne room
Sets up a future search for a father figure by Ben solo which leads to snoke
Sets up a better theme of forgiving your enemies for return of the jedi…as Luke and leia forgive their father for killing han as vader dies in the throne room of palpatines lava palace
