I’ve got to say, looking at the ESB 2.6 shots that the skin tones are finally (for me) looking quite nice. I don’t like to give kk650 a hard time, but the warming up of 2.5 was too slight for me and it still looked desaturated. But great job on 2.6, I’m going to take a look at the whole film.

Did the 2.6 ANH fly under the radar here or did I miss a post? Hopefully it looks similar. For the 2.5 collection, Jedi arguably had the most desaturated skin tones, so looking forward to 2.6 there.

Edit: ANH 2.6 looks pretty good! I think the skin tones look nice. My main problem with it is something that has been around for quite a few revisions, and that’s the contrast. I think the black levels definitely need to be dropped a bit as they’re quite a light grey on a calibrated display. Starfields, inside the sandcrawler, even the black screen before the Fox logo. So a universal contrast change should do some good. If the space shots could look as they do in ESB, it would be a major improvement.

Edit: Dropping the brightness level for ANH in Kodi by 3 or 4% brings the black levels down to a nice level, and everything else looks fine this way. And Kodi saves this change specifically for just this file, which is nice.
