I don’t expect Wonder Woman to be any more historically accurate than 300 was. 😉
I never have seen 300.
It wouldn’t bother me at all if it were just a passing detail not relevant to the story.
But Ares is the bad guy in the movie. The Amazons were his daughters. I think it makes a big difference.
