The original version was a Krayt (sp?) dragon noise while the 2004 DVD is of the lizard thing from Ep 3.

I never thought it sounded like a dewback until Lucas put in so many dewback sounds that we couldn't help but know what they sound like. Having said that, would not a dewback scream also startle tuskens since the imperials are known to employ them?
I really dislike the new sound. It just sounds like an electronic tweet. . . doesn't even sound scary.
