To illustrate the accuracy of the scans, I will compare Mike Verta’s calibrated photographs of a Technicolor print screening, which he claims is 98% accurate in terms of hues, with my own calibrated scan. Let’s first look at the two images:

Now, despite the fact that the Mike Verta print was projected with a 1970s bulb, the colors are visually very close. The Mike Verta photo is slightly more yellow, which in this case is logical, considering the light source used to project it.
