I doubt we’ll ever hear much more detail about this.

Not because of cover-ups and whatnot, but as we discovered in the recounts that did happen in 2016, there’s simply no paper trail in many cases, and therefore no way to prove a vote was legitimately cast or recorded.

Where step 2 is our own damn fault for having such terrible elections systems that we can’t see if it’s broken or not. The only proxy we have for that data is exit polling, which can be countered by conservative media with nothing more than hand-waving and maybe-its-true-maybe-its-not bothsiderism.
