Yeah, the special edition Wampa was one of the few changes I actually really liked. I just wish they would’ve replaced the really bad hand puppet, that looks more like it’s running to hug Luke, instead of eat him. It reminded me of the original Alien, when it’s the full body shot of the alien, and it opens it’s arms to hug:
I swear, George replaced good effects, and left the stuff that was even bad when it was new. I’ll never understand that.
