No, I didn't notice it.

Which scene was it in? I'll have to look for it the next time.

I saw it.

After Grevious' ship has crashed, the shuttle with Anakin and Obi-wan head towards the Senate building. You can see the Falcon landing at the Senate just moments before the shuttle does. Its kind of out of focus, but its definitely there.

Yes it was definatly there, it appears at the bottom of the screen for 4 secs.

Cameos do make a difference you know.

I'm watching the scene now. If anyone would like a screen shot I would glady send it.

Working copies of ROTS already popped up online. If he's got a completed version, then I don't know, but it's certainly pirated. I just want to see the screen cap.

I'd also like to see George Lucas's cameo as Baron Pawawhatever... he is supposedly in the theater scene with Palpatine...

All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. Wow, a pirated commercial copy has the deleted scenes. If that's not motivation to get ahold of one, I don't know what is.

I still don't get why Lucas held out on those scenes. Very crucial IMO to filling out the story. Plus Yoda landing on Degobah would have been a better OT nod than "Miss you I will, Chewbacca". Maybe Chewie and him had a one night stand and he's going to miss that Wookie nookie.

the falcon scene they are refering to isnt one of the deleted scenes, i think your mixing this up with the other thread that talks about deleted scenes

Why Anakin really turned to the dark side:
"Anakin, You're father I am" - Yoda
"No. No. That's not true! That's impossible!" - Anakin

You're right. Too much activity on these forums today. It's so hard to keep up LOL. Good to see though. Opinions from multiple angles have been nice to look at and think about.

Talking about pirated copies, already!

I passed by a guy selling them out of the trunk of his car downtown for $10. They had the covers, looked good on the outside with the movie poster as the front, everything else was black, no back cover. I'm sure his copy was taken with a home video camera, though ... most are.

Well I saw a bootleg copy on DVD on sunday afternoon last week. It was full quality and it was in fullscreen, which leads me to belive it was copied from a promotional copy or something. A friend of mine told me that there were bootleg copies in China for over a month, perhaps an early cut of the film? HOW does those things leak so fast and so easily? I mean, I've read that right now there are 2 quality copies in torrent servers, not filmed from movie theaters...

I think it must be someone on the "inside" who leaks these things. I don't see any other way for high quality versions to make to the internet so quickly.

The workprint is anamorphic widescreen.

As for Lucas' cameo, I caught it on the second viewing. Watch to the left when Anakin runs into the Chancellor's box. he's talking to someone in the hallway.

Made for IE Forum's Episode III theme month - May 2005.

On the big screen in the cinema it was a lot bigger and easy to catch.

And we're supposed to catch that on screen?!?! Jeez! I was figuring it would be a bit more prominent.

There is no way Darth Balls that i would have seen that on normal tv screen. I saw it on the big screen in the cinema clear as day.

I appreciate that Lucas' cameo was extremely understated. I caught it on second viewing only because I knew where to look and remembered to look for it. This wasn't like Boba Fett's appearance in the ANH SE (which, I myself, don't mind) or even the E.T.s in Ep I.
I am fluent in over six million forms of procrastination.

Oh, I LOATHE Boba Fett in ANH. The whole Jabba scene is horrible, but Fett turning to face the camera is just...inexcusable.

I saw it(the falcon) plain as day the first time around, but when I saw ROTS the second and third time it seemed a lot smaller than it did at first.

Boba Fett camo in IV was weird, it was like look-at-me-i'm-so-cool.
