I thought that if they got made they’d be cool.
Maybe something along the lines of what OP describes.
I never thought they’d be incoherent, mortifying, laughable garbage.
Until the SEs came out, and I realized Georgie-poo was a demented megalomaniac hell-bent on shitting all over the franchise.
