Yeah, but the people who make the bootlegs know there’s still a market for it. Anything that’s out of print and still collectible is a viable market. That’s why Studio Ghibli was a big target, because those films were super popular and Disney “vaulted” them, so the bootlegs sprung up.

The guy sent me another message saying he bought them “directly” from Amazon so they can’t be bootlegs… I’m not so sure about that though, they’ve goofed in the past and accidentally sold bootlegs. I might ask if he can pop one of the discs in a computer and see what size it is - all the Ghibli bootlegs I got were DVD5 sized (obviously), whereas the real ones would be DVD9.
